Peer Groups Pay Off

By Ken Galo

On a recent Friday morning, XL Advantage Cleaning, of Columbus, OH received the phone call they have been waiting for, the assignment of their first floor contract.  The call also came with another surprise; it had to be done that weekend.

Did they panic? No, they called some of their peers in the cleaning business.  People they had met thru networking at Global Cleaning Association and then at the Cleaners Seminar this past August in Louisville, KY.

Mike Underwood of Century Cleaning Services, Louisville, KY and John Robertson of Quality Cleaning Services, Hebron, IN responded to the call.

On Saturday morning, all 3 were hard at work stripping and finishing the tile floors.   Tim and Scott of XL Advantage were able to utilize the professional skills of several other cleaning companies, their peers, to tackle a tough job.

The outcome?  The customer was quoted as saying “Wow, these floors never looked this good!”
